RALLY FOR JOBS in U.S.

More energy equals more jobs, higher income and greater income growth. SBE )The Small Business & Entrepreneurship) Council is joining other organizations and the energy industry to let Washington know that our livelihoods depend on the oil and natural gas industry, and that consumers who rely on access to affordable energy will not be overlooked.

Throughout September, thousands of Americans will assemble together to call upon the government to re-open the gates of American energy prosperity.

Starting September 1, Rally for Jobs kicks off in Houston, Beaumont and Corpus Christi, Texas. We then move on to Canton, Ohio on September 7; Farmington, New Mexico and Joliet, Illinois on September 8; and Grand Junction, Colorado on September 11.

Thousands of Americans have already lost their energy-related jobs, and higher energy prices will only add to the economic hardship facing so many Americans and small businesses.

The energy industry supports 9.2 million jobs in U.S. – U.S. need to keep every one of them, and add even more to support U.S. energy needs
