Corporate parliament gathers Europe's entrepreneurs

On October 14th, politicians in the European Parliament will be replaced by entrepreneurs. 751 entrepreneurs from the 27 EU member will be gathered in Brussels to debate and vote on the future of Europe. The focus will be on the economic crisis, environmental issues and the digital agenda.

There are several important issues that needs to be
addressed in order to make Europe more business-friendly.

For example, the environmental area needs to be simplified. A functioning system of electronic procurement is needed within the EU and the EU budget needs a reformation.

Sweden will be represented by 20 business managers
. The delegation will be run by Peje Emilsson, who is the chairman of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. Business managers across the country will participate in the delegation.

This event will be arranged by Eurochambres, which is the
Chambers of Commerce umbrella organization. Besides companies, commissioners and parliamentarians will be on sight.
