The 100 most eminent universities

An annual ranking is now presented by the Jiao Tong University in China. Here, the world´s most exclusive universities are highlighted. At the very top, we find Harvard University and University of California, Berkeley. Both are located in the United States. In Europe, the British Cambridge University holds the number one position.

Positive for Sweden is also the fact that the Karolinska Institute, Uppsala University and Stockholm University are ranked among the top 100. In addition, the Karolinska Institute also ended up among the top ten in clinical medicine.

Overall, the Karolinska Institute ended up as no 42, Uppsala University as no 66 and Stockholm University as no 79. All of these universities have improved their ranking since last year.
