Apoteket will establish operations in the business park
GewerbePark Elbmarsch outside Hamburg. The building starts in June 2010 and the first deliveries to German patients are expected to take place in the first half of 2011.
In Germany, there is great demand for multido services for the country´s patients within the geriatric and home care. Within the target group of Apoteket´s multido service, there are just over one million patients and will become increasingly larger.
Apoteket's establishment in Germany is made by the subsidiary Apoteket International, which is responsible to develop and operate the pharmacy business on markets outside Sweden.
- During 25 years, we have developed the concept ApoDos, which simplify everyday life and increase safety for both patients and health care. We now look forward to be able to offer ApoDos to the German patients as well, said Stefan Carlsson, CEO of Apoteket AB.
