100 000 job opportunities in the public sector will disappear according to Nicolas Sarkozy, who is committed to reforming the public sector.
In late May, he announced that the public employees will be reduced by another 100 000 in total during the years of 2011 - 2013.
A special consultation will be held this summer on how to reach the goal for the public sector. Sarkozy explained that the budget deficit will decrease to 6 percent in 2011 and, further down to 4.6 percent in 2012.
