A better situation for the hotel and catering industry

Hotels and restaurants have had a hard time during the crisis. Even coffee shops have had to fight an uphill battle. Recent figures from Statistics Sweden show that restaurant sales increased with 3.4 percent in April compared to last year.

The largest increase was found among coffee shops
where the sales increased by the entire 9.3 percent.

This is yet another proof that the crisis seems to be over soon. The influx of foreign tourists contribute to growth for both restaurants and coffee shops. Furthermore, The hotel industry increased by 6.5 percent during the month of April.

This is a step in the right direction. In a previous article
published by Establishing Abroad, it appeared that the restaurants was the industry that resulted in the largest number of bankruptcies. However, this fact suggests that the situation may be back on track.
