Investments in Germany

Germany offers attractive incentives for foreign investors. This includes, for example, a wide range of applications that support the broad spectrum of activities in all stages of the investment process. The payments range from financial incentives to compensation for R&D work.

The country has a preference for renewable energy in
the current situation and here there are opportunities for foreign investors. You can also take advantage of the skills in the area and the export-oriented climate.

The large and growing share of renewable energy resources creates a demand for alternative energy storage, such as advanced batteries, hydrogen and fuel cell technology in combination with other things. This technique has several purposes: to balance the supply of renewable energy and make carbon-free energy available to a wide range of mobile and portable applications.

Germany has already taken the lead in this technology. Over 350 companies and institutions are already active in the industry. Half of all revenues generated by the fuel exports make Germany an excellent base to promote the European Union and its businesses wishing to enter this emerging market.

A number of economic sectors are ready to make profits, all to create opportunities for companies in a wide range of industries. Businesses benefit from a well-established network of partners in the industry.

German aid accelerates industry growth. Research in energy technology is currently supported by 2.2 billion Euros for the period 2008 to 2011. Federal and regional institutions have created programs to increase the efforts.

There are usually no restrictions or additional requirements
imposed for foreign investors who plan to establish a business in Germany. Germany advocates freedom of foreign trade.

Public financing programs are available for all workers with a registered business in Germany. An investor's country of origin is irrelevant when it comes to define a project as well as eligibility for public funding. The decisive criteria are the size of the parent company, the area of the planned investment and the size of the investment project
