British Private Equity Company sees business opportunities

The future seems bright for British private equity firms. The Grand Thornton Private Equity Barometer in England shows that 80 percent of these companies expect more investments in the near future.

This survey was conducted by 100 private equity firms
that are well informed about the investment sectors as well as trends on the market.

The report also shows optimism among entrepreneurs on the English market which means increased opportunities for investment.

Obtaining capital has been one of the biggest problems for
countries due to the financial crisis. Now, two thirds of private equity companies in England assume that they have adequate capital to conduct business.

The biggest obstacle has been the unrealistic sales prices to close a deal. However, they are willing to pay very well for quality assets.

Now, the focus in on changing types of businesses in 2010.
The main focus will be on health care, infrastructure and business services. These types of businesses are considered to bring in more profits.
