Investor confidence in Middle East economies has grown despite global crisis and the UAE is well placed to attract FDI in 2010, Dr Dirk Buchta, Managing Director, At Kearney.
"The decision-makers we surveyed placed UAE among the top preferred destinations based on ease of doing business, infrastructure quality and access to consumer market and various other criterion," said Dr Buchta, to
Emirates Business 24/7. FDI flows worldwide appear disappointing but UAE being one of the top destinations is quite well positioned to attract FDI flows, he said, adding: "This ranking indicates that investors have both grasped the importance of the Mena with its 500 million consumers, and that they expect the UAE in general, with Dubai as the preferred entry point."
