American small businesses in many different sectors across the United States are still facing a very difficult environment, according to the U.S. Finance Minister Timothy Geithner in a statement in early February.
According to President Barack Obama, it is in small businesses “where most new jobs begin” and hence the small and medium enterprises will be important when the economy recovers.
President Barack Obama said that he would create a fund for loans to small businesses with $ 30 billion that will be transferred from the Troubled Asset Relief Program. Furthermore, the president also approved U.S. $ 33 billion in tax cuts for small businesses in order to create new jobs across the country.
