Another company invests internationally

More and more companies are choosing international markets. Now, another Swedish company chose to expand to other markets. During the first half of 2010, Prevas AB opens new offices in Bangalore, India and in Dubai United Arab Emirates.

This establishment occurs because Prevas AB wants to
try out emerging markets and ultimately strengthen its competitiveness in Scandinavia.

The advantages of the new markets are many.
The goal is to increase sales on an international market and ensure the availability of well-educated employees. Furthermore, they want to bring down the costs.

Local partners will help out with recruitment and now they
are looking for managers for the offices. The goal is expand by 50 new employees in a three-year term and to earn 50 MSEK on these new markets.

Initially, the office in Bangalore will have a dozen employees and will then grow along with the market. Under the project management, a number of domestic specialists will offer the same expertise and focus on systems and industrial IT solutions.

- India has one of the world's fastest-growing economies
where IT is the sector that so far has grown the most. Opening a new office in India is a strategic and important step for Prevas. Partly to meet increased demand for engineering skills and also to offer cost-effective development services, says Mats Lundberg, CEO of Prevas AB.

In India, there is also a strong self-expanding market for Prevas
services in product development and industrial systems.

They have chosen to focus on industrial systems in the
Middle East. Competence and competitive solutions are attractive to customers in the region, particularly in the sectors of oil & gas, steel & aluminum, and manufacturing. Dubai is a good place to start with in order to reach out to neighboring countries in the Middle East.

Mats Lundberg says that the customers will keep the costs
down, while they do not have to take risks. This establishment is in other words hopefully a win-win situation.
