Göteborgs Köpmannaförbund will provide a scholarship to be known as "Göteborgs Köpmannaförbunds Sten-Olof Palms Stipendium".

The scholarship consists of a monetary award of SEK 150,000 and a 9-month period of training at the SACC-USA office.

- We are very pleased about this successful collaboration with Göteborgs Köpmannaförbund and this is a terrific opportunity for the rewarded student to gain experience from marketing, sales and project management in an American business setting.

SACC-USA will also gain from expanding it's network with many new valuable partners within the Göteborgs Köpmannaförbund, Gunilla Girardo, President of SACC-USA says.

The scholarship will be awarded to a different student each year for five years, starting in 2010. SACC-USA Trainee Program will assist the scholarship recipient with his or her J-1 visa application and will also write the training plan.

SACC-USA is looking forward to this partnership with Göteborgs Köpmannaförbund, and to work with excellent students from University of Gothenburg School of Business, economics and Law. We encourange students in Gothenburg to apply for the scholarship and welcoming the first scholarship student in September next year!
