The Chamber of Commerce in mid-Sweden seeks entrepreneurs and investors that want to solve old problems with cooperation, new technologies and new ways of thinking that results in new methods.
In 2010, a unique building project in the Estonian Valga will start. This is a construction project and the goal is to build a green house on the green street at the end of the green park.
The project is part of a bigger EU project that will go on until 2011. A joint project between the public sector and private industry where the focus is to increase exports of environmental and energy technologies from Jämtland and Västernorrland (northern Sweden).
The project is estimated to have a budget of 15 million SEK and the house will consist of 18 small apartments, mostly one bedroom and two bedrooms.
The house will have its own energy, ventilation and sewage system. The tenants dish and waste water will be taken care of along with kitchen waste. What will be left is only pure water and dung, powdered.
Valga town has about 15.000 inhabitants and is a meeting place for rail and truck transportation at the Latvian border. This is a city with a green vision that invests in sustainable urban development.
Together with his neighbor Valka on the Latvian side, there are 650 companies. High on the agenda is to develop a good business climate that invests in production of building materials and environmentally friendly energy technologies.
The railway network is currently being developed and provides great opportunities for exporters who want to invest in Eastern Europe and other markets in Asia.
