Job seekers are leaving the Swedish market - Why?

In the current situation job seekers, especially young people, send out large numbers of applications but most often the companies may not even respond.

Long educations and high student loans result in unemployment
or odd jobs on the Swedish market.

Rather than to just sit and wait, they are looking to other countries where the market has more to offer, which will result in that Sweden will lose a highly skilled workforce.

A lot of people then ask “Why?”, and why there are better chances abroad. Shouldn´t there be something we can do to stop this trend?
Living in southern Sweden has proven to be an asset, since Denmark is very close and offers more job opportunities. 20.000 people living in Scania (Skåne) choose to commute, and the number is predicted to increase even more.

But what will happen to the Swedish market?
Immigrants and young people are the most affected, but also Swedish companies. Suddenly companies pretty much HAVE to look to other markets.

The security and the option to change job if you would want no longer exist. "Take It Or Leave It" reflects Sweden's labor situation at the moment and we should think about why other countries are doing better because we are a country of great potential.

It is good to gain experience, learn a new language and to be confident to take chances when the situation at home is unbearable, but for the future, this is not the right concept.

We should simply revise our working models, rules and
laws for a brighter future.
