Language practice at one of 100 companies
Germany dominates the European economy and is Sweden's largest trading partner. Although English is the language of the current group in most large companies and almost all Europeans learn it in school, it is not enough. In the contact with Germany,

German is still the most viable language, which many Swedes are not aware of. In an era of ever-stronger international ties and contacts, solid German skills and experience of working within the German business community provide a wide range of benefits.

IS Düsseldorf´s 100 partners include Dresdner Bank, Mazda, IKEA, Siemens, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Cologne Tourismus and others. All course participants are placed in a business location that meets their educational background, interests and desires.

In addition to 31 professionals, customized spots are introduced when each course starts – the most recent ones were for an archaeologist, a forest officer and a librarian. All industries and professions are welcome. It does not matter if you are a new student, if you are halfway in your studies or if you already work and do not study.

Provide opportunities for jobs
Many course participants have got a job in Germany or Sweden in connection with this course. Julius Majoros, who did his language training at Ogilvy & Mather, tells about how the course opened doors for him:
"If it had it not been for IS Düsseldorf, I probably would not have worked and lived in Munich today.

It was IS that gave me that extra motivation, both to improve my German language skills and the urge to really get to know Germany. In times like these, when it is difficult to establish on the labor market, practical experience may play a crucial role. During my interviews in Germany, my practical elements from a German marketing agency were positively perceived. Once again, thanks a lot! "

Another course participant who noticed the positive feedback after the course was Emil Engstrand. With an education in engineering physics, he made his practice at DLR - Germany's national center for aviation and space.

After the time in Dusseldorf, I wrote my master thesis based on the work I did as an intern at DLR," says Emil. "During this time I had contact with companies in both Munich and Düsseldorf in regards to work when the training was done so the course undoubtedly opens plenty of doors."

More than just a language course
The eight-week intensive course deepens the course participants' knowledge of German and prepare them for the German labor market. All teaching takes place with experienced, native teachers.
