In most countries, they have several different records of information about the industry. They had that in Norway as well, until just a few years ago.
Then they started Brönnöysundregistrene which collects all information about all businesses in Norway.
In this registry, there is a huge amount of information which has created discussions in Norway about the total control.
But the CEO, Erik Fossum, does not perceive it in that way.
He sees a big advantage in that all the Norwegian authorities can get all the information through a single register which means that there will not be unnecessary burdens on companies with questions and forms.
So if you want to start a business in Norway, sign up for Brönnöysundregistrene.
