Suominen banks up in Sweden

Suominen is a company that produces, among other things, plastic packaging.

Now the factory in Norrköping announced 30 employees and plant manager Hans Svensson believes that it plans to close down the entire operation in Sweden.

Suominen has old factory in Poland and the company has ended up in a tough economic time. So it was not surprising when the notices came, but many employees think it has been shocking and difficult to absorb. However, Mr. Smith says he is not surprised.

A not-too-daring guess is that the production moved to Poland in order to achieve profitability.
