No tax increases in Poland

The president of Poland promise to stop tax increases. Poland's president has recently spoken out about the situation in the country.

- If the government Tusk wants to raise taxes to get the
country out of its economic crisis, it's nothing that I will approve. This is stated by president Kaczynski in an interview in the weekly Wprost, quoted by the news agency PAP.

In my opinion, the slowdown in Poland is not so bad that
we need an increase in taxes.

If the government is proposing tax increases, it should be directed towards those who are already wealthy - I cannot accept that the poorest will be badly affected by the crisis, says the president.

The Central government´s revenue has decreased considerably
with the financial crisis and the government is struggling with the budget. The president has under the Constitution the right to reject parliamentary decision which is sent to him for a signature.
