One of the world's largest boat builders Brunswick Marine in Europe (BME), which owns the boat brand “Uttern” and others such as Sea Ray and Baja must ensure to secure increased profitability for the future.
For the Swedish “Uttern” it means that all production will be moved to Poland, where the BME in the past has moved a part of their development and production.
Poland has been an attractive establishment country for a long period of time due to a globally competitive cost level and access to highly skilled labor force.
It is estimated that there are currently 600 Swedish companies established in Poland.
