It was not long ago rents for office and commercial spaces on the main street Nevskij Prospekt in St. Petersburg would cost thousands of SEK/m² per month.
Recently, however, the situation has changed and customers can now push their landlords to dramatic price cuts since more and more companies shut down and thousands of square meters are unused.
Although prices in the past year have fallen by between 30-50 percent it is still difficult to attract tenants, which also indicates how the price situation was just a year ago.
