The road system is constantly being developed and improved. The railway network is extensive. Flights to major European cities are available from many cities in Poland.
Financial services are working well. Credit cards are accepted everywhere and ATM services are well developed.
The structure is different in western and eastern Poland due to historical reasons. An example would be railway connections. It is frequently used in western Poland and sparsely in the East. The same applies to large roads, it also affects the mentality. This has its basis far back in history when Poland was under the German and Russian influence.
The infrastructure is very important and today the western part of Poland that was under the German influence is much more successful. This is due to the infrastructure but also because eastern Poland is much more dependent on agriculture and this is the old type of agriculture with small farms.
It also affects the educational level which is higher in western Poland. There is a clear difference between large cities in central and western Poland and the large cities in the eastern part of Poland, and between big cities and small towns.
