Brazil's market is growing

Brazil's market is dependent on foreign companies, especially during these times. Foreign direct investment is useful right to keep up with the global competition.

These investments are primarily used to improve the country's infrastructure and logistics systems, which in turn creates job opportunities.

Efficient infrastructure and logistics are required
for the production and foreign trade and promotes education, technological innovation and effective management. These activities are important to attract FDI.

Several Swedish companies are already established on the Brazilian market, especially industrial companies. Many companies choose to expand to the country instead of moving an entire business, which has proved to be favorable. To have parts of their production in Brazil also increases employment in Sweden.

Employees working for Swedish companies in Brazil earn
about 8,000 SEK per month, which makes Brazil a low-cost country. It should be mentioned that Brazil has high import duties to protect domestic production.

Since Brazil is a country that continues to evolve, the middle class grows. This results in that there is a need for better technology. Within this area, Swedish companies have good business opportunities, and Brazil is one of the countries that have managed the crisis relatively well.

Today, there are approximately 30 000 employees in Swedish industrial companies in Brazil and that number increases.
