Andrew Mitchell, a British ambassador spoke publicly about England, and gave interesting facts. 8-10 percent of Swedish exports go to the country, and the country has the world's sixth largest manufacturing economy. It is also the second largest country for investment after the United States.
Sweden and England have a good cooperation in that we share the same values. Andrew gave advice and said that we should try to see the possibilities with the crisis and look ahead, and also said that education becomes more important in these times.
One of the great advantages of England is that labor regulations are designed to ensure the existence of a flexible labor market.
Mikael Randhem was one of several entrepreneurs who have chosen to relocate to England.

There are good opportunities for Swedes in England, partly because of the language but also because Englishmen have a good perception of Swedes in general.
The sectors that are popular right now are IT and telecom, retail, biotechnology, and environmental products.
