IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER through political efforts we will succeed in stabilizing the financial system. What worries me more is how a recession affects the demand for contractors' products and services.
THE UNSTABLE WORLD FINANCES and the big problems that came with them affect the entrepreneurship, not least by making it more difficult to find financing. Sweden is also heavily exposed to the world, which means that a global recession strikes against the Swedish companies. It is important to be able to talk about it. But a contractor will always see opportunities rather than obstacles. And it is still possible to do good business.
I COME IN CONTACT with many entrepreneurs in my role as CEO of the auditing and consulting firm Grant Thornton, not least in the forum which now emerged to encourage knowledge exchange and networking between entrepreneurs. The network ‘Founders Alliance’ is one of those, where entrepreneurs will meet like-minded people and benefit from the experience of other company founders in specific areas. Many fine companies grow in this network, for example the nominees for the Founders Award.
